My name is Zoe and I'm married to Steve. During lockdown we found one of the best ways to cope was using creativity. Covid was difficult for everyone and as we returned to normal life and the business of work, I found it hard to cope with the pressure so I took some courses in Stained Glass, Fluid Art and Mosaics and taught myself how to use Resin. I found using my imagination and being creative to be a healing process and made me feel happy and I wanted to share this with others! In 2022 I started to run my own workshops which became very popular. Earlier this year I decided to leave my job and focus on the creative arts full time, rent an art studio and that's how Creative Craft Works Ltd was formed!
For anyone coming to my workshops, no experience is necessary, just come with enthusiasm, imagination and don't be disappointed if it doesn't work out how you'd like, all art is unique and beautiful and you'll take home something you love!

Some people find it therapeutic, it's almost like pouring emotions onto a page and the paint making sense of feeling when there are no words to express it. This is a painting I did when I was feeling confused about a problem, pouring paint and using a hairdryer and seeing the paint move into something quite lovely helped me to feel process how I was feeling and made me peaceful in the mess!

Resin art is beautiful!
The process involves mixing E-Poxy resin into a mold, then adding colours, or dried flowers, silver leaf, or even fairly lights like the Blessed sign above! It will take 24 hours to set, you can either return to the workshop to remove it from the mold yourself, or I can send it to you.
